Taylor Steven is a Legal Assistant at Steven Law Office and assists landlords, property owners, property managers, and housing providers throughout Eastern and Central Washington and Northern Idaho. Since joining the firm in May 2024, Taylor has worked full time supporting the firm's attorneys in landlord-tenant matters, gaining valuable hands-on experience in legal drafting, eviction proceedings, litigation support, and client communication.
Working alongside experienced landlord-tenant attorneys, Taylor has developed a strong understanding of Washington's residential, manufactured housing, and commercial landlord-tenant laws. She assists with case preparation, legal document drafting, court filings, and the day-to-day management of landlord-tenant litigation while helping ensure clients receive organized, responsive, and efficient service.
Taylor earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Boise State University in 2025 and also completed a Certificate in Project Management. Her educational background provides a strong foundation in organization, leadership, business operations, and strategic planning that complements her legal work.
Committed to continuing her legal career, Taylor will begin the Washington State Bar Association Rule 6 Law Clerk Program in December 2026 while continuing to work full time at Steven Law Office. Through Washington's Law Clerk Program, she will pursue her goal of becoming a licensed attorney while gaining practical legal experience. Taylor is also pursuing her Washington real estate broker's license to further expand her knowledge of the housing industry.
During her time at Boise State University, Taylor served as Vice President of her collegiate sorority, where she helped oversee chapter operations, coordinate meetings, and support organizational leadership. The communication, leadership, and organizational skills developed through that role continue to benefit both the firm and its clients.
Taylor is dedicated to providing responsive, detail-oriented, and client-focused service while continuing to expand her knowledge of landlord-tenant law. She looks forward to building a career representing landlords, property owners, and housing providers throughout Washington and Northern Idaho.
